About The Dalmore Distillery 1974 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Dalmore Distillery 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is part of the distillery's "Rare and Prestigious"collection. The whisky was distilled in 1974 and matured for approximately 32 years in casks that were previously used to mature bourbon. After its three-decade long beautyrest, the whisky was finished in a single, thirty-year old Matusalem sherry butt from the Gonzalez Byass for an additional four years. "Only the best selected American white oak cask is used during the maturation process," says Richard Paterson, Dalmore Distillery's Master Distiller, "but it is the unique Matusalem sherry butt from Gonzalez Byass that transforms it into something so rich and intense." The used sherry cask sourced from Spain contributes rich and opulent notes of raisins, caramelized orange, dates and figs to the whisky, and complement its notes of honeyed oak and cinnamon spice.

Dalmore Distillery 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a rich, copper-reddish color, along with an aroma of roasted nuts, peach, honey and brown sugar. The notes of dried fruits, figs, raisins, cherries and raspberries complement notes of cola, cinnamon and woody spices, and add to a long, balanced finish. The whisky earned the Platinum Medal at the International Review of Spirits, and earned a score of 99 points from the Beverage Testing Institute, which said that the whisky was "amazingly rich and vibrant"and was blessed with a "a deep, feminine soul."

Only 948 bottles of this single malt were ever produced. Pick one up today!

About The Dalmore

Situated along the banks of Cromarty Firth in the Highlands region of Scotland, Dalmore Distillery was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, who had earned his fortune illegally importing opium from the Far East. In 1886, Matheson sold Dalmore Distillery to Clan MacKenzie, whose century-long stewardship and defining influence over the distillery is still evident today — the 12-point stag adorned on every bottle of Dalmore Distillery Whisky is derived from Clan MacKenzie's coat of arms.

Dalmore Distillery Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from plump, golden barley sourced from the rich, coastal soils of the Black Isle. Once the barley has been harvested, it is milled and mashed before being fermented with water drawn from the Cromarty Firth. Prior to reaching the firth, however, the water travels from Loch Morie through a number of peat bogs and limestone quarries, and t hus, contributes a slightly mineral and chewy mouthfeel to the whisky.

Once the barley has been fermented, the wash is distilled twice, first through Dalmore Distillery's copper-pot wash stills and then again through its copper-pot spirit stills. The wash stills have an unusually flat top, while the spirit stills are equipped with cold water jackets. This unusual equipment — the water jackets rinse cold water near the top of the still — makes it difficult for the lighter elements of the whisky to pass through the still, and ultimately results in a more opulent and rich whisky.

About Scotch

Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique properties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.)

Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt.

About Glen Moray

In its first life, Glen Moray was the Elgin West Brewery, until the end of the 19th century, when the brewery was reincarnated as the iconic Speyside distillery. Glen Moray was founded by Robert Thorne & Sons. Situated on the banks of River Lossie, in the Royal Burgh of Elgin, the first spirit dropped from the copper pot stills on the 13th of September 1897. There have only been five Master Distillers since then, which is a testament to their authenticity, and reputation for producing consistent, quality spirit. This pristine craftsmanship has been passed down through generations.

With over a century of tradition, not much has changed at the iconic Speyside distillery. They continue to mature their whiskies in a wide array of casks, a technique which was once a rarity. Their whisky ages onsite in casks ranging from sherry and chardonnay to port, yielding an impressive spectrum of aromas and flavors.

After a brief pause in production during WWII, Glen Moray revamped their facilities and expanded, and the distillery is currently owned by French spirits company La Martiniquaise. Graham Coull is the fifth master distiller at Glen Moray. At the helm of the operation, he oversees all of the production that goes into their signature core range, featuring nine single malts.

About Glen Garioch 37 Year Old Bicentenary 200th Anniversary Edition

Glen Garioch Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from barley harvested from the Valley of the Garioch. After the barley has been harvested, it is mashed and fermented with water drawn from the Silent Spring. In 1968, production of whisky at Glen Garioch Distillery was suspended as the area surrounding the distillery experienced a severe drought. Four years later, an incredibly pure spring was discovered upon a neighborhooding farm. The Silent Spring, as it came to be known, could neither be seen nor heard without modern instruments, and has been Glen Garioch's water source for over four decades. Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice — first through Glen Garioch copper-pot wash still and then again through its spirit still.

This gorgeous golden dram was released in honor of the 200 year anniversary of the distillery. That happened on the same day that the reopening did. Only 200 fit-for-celebration bottles were ever made. It’s rare and highly in-demand.

You’ll do your collection a huge favor by grabbing this one for yourself!

About Glen Garioch

Situated in the village of Old Meldrum in the Scottish Highlands, the Glen Garioch (pronounced Glen Geery) Distillery was founded in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson. The distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland, and takes its name from the Valley of the Garioch, which is situated adjacent to the distillery and is known for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland. The distillery — the most easterly in Scotland — enjoys the temperate climate and cool breeze that are ideal for the production and maturation of whisky.

About Glenfiddich Rare Collection 1975 Vintage Cask #5114

In 1886, William Grant, along with the help of his nine children and a single stone mason, began construction of the Glenfiddich Distillery, situated in the Speyside region of Scotland. After a year of hard labor, the first drop of whisky fell from the distillery's copper-pot stills on Christmas Day 1887. Today, Grant's passion, determination and pioneering spirit continue to guide Glenfiddich Distillery, which is stewarded by the fifth generation of the Grant family.

Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch is made exclusively from malted barley, which is milled and mashed with water sourced from Robbie Dhu spring. The crystal clear spring water, which is bottled directly at the source, is incredibly pure — the distillery purchased 1,200 acres around the spring decades ago in order to protect its unique water supply. After the barley has been mashed, it is fermented in wooden fermentation tanks made of Douglas Fir. While wooden fermentation tanks are more expensive and difficult to maintain as compared to stainless steel tanks, they absorb a portion of the heat generated during fermentation, and thus, enable a slower and longer fermentation process. Following fermentation, the wash is twice-distilled through Glenfiddich's copper-pot stills (the distillery employs a craftsman onsite to tend to the stills, which are unique in shape and size) before the heart of the distillate is cut and prepared for maturation.

This fantastic US limited release is a treasure! Only 100 bottles of Glenfiddich Rare Collection 1975 Vintage Cask 5114 were ever produced. Cask 5114 matured in a European Oak Hogshead, and it’s bottled at casks strength and non-chill filtered. Even the bottle itself is fittingly extra. Each individually numbered, presented in a brown Italian leather box. Ah-maz ing!

About Old Carter 13 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #85

Founded by husband and wife Mark and Sherri Carter, Old Carter Whiskey Co. is focused on bringing super high-quality and unique small-batch straight rye and bourbon whiskeys to discerning drinkers. The couple started in the wine business, producing fine wine in the Napa Valley. The Carter Cellars Cabernets have garnered numerous awards and has led them towards whiskey.

Their whiskey journey started when they joined a friend from Kentucky in resurrecting the long-absent Kentucky Owl bourbon brand. By the time the brand was sold in 2017, the couple had grown too fond of the spirit to simply let go, diving straight into sourcing, producing, and blending whiskey in Kentucky. It's a true hands-on family operation that enables them to cultivate their passionate love for whiskey and share it with the world.

An extraordinary single barrel release, to say the least. There are only 124 bottles of this rare 120.9-proof straight bourbon in the world. Barrel #85 is where the magic obviously happened as this 13-years-old is simply incredible.

About Booker's True Barrel Bourbon Batch No. C07-A-12

This straight-from-the-barrel bourbon is aged 6 to 8 years at the center of the rackhouse (typically the 5th and 6th floors of a 9 story aging warehouse) where the temperature and humidity create deep and intense flavors. It's then bottled at a generous 65.3% ABV with no additional water or chill-filtration, allowing all of the flavor carriers in the Bourbon to remain.

Each year sees a few batches of Booker's uncut and unfiltered bourbon released, each batch meticulously aged to perfection ― it's ready when it's ready. All unapologetically unique, bold, and the perfect mixture of art, science, and Mother Nature’s magic.

About Booker's

Jim Beam's grandson Booker Noe couldn't wait to turn 21 ― not so he could start drinking, but rather distilling. Being 6th generation distiller with Beam blood coursing through his veins, as well as growing up in the heart of Kentucky, it was only natural. He worked for years as a Master Distiller, then started bottling his very own bourbon as gifts for family and friends after retiring. In 1988 he released the first batch of his namesake Booker’s Bourbon to the public, coining the phrase "small batch" along the way. Today Booker's is run by his son Fred and operates under the Jim Beam distillery. "Fred, make sure they don't mess with my Booker's," is what he requested of his son at his retirement.

About Bruichladdich 35 Year Old 1968 Legacy Series Three

This rich, soft and fruity Whisky was distilled way back in 1968 and spent 35 years in ex-Bourbon casks. It’s #3 in the legacy series (an array of the rarest and oldest Bruichladdich casks).

Specially selected by Master Distiller Jim McEwan, each bottle features the stunning artwork of the famous Scottish artist Frances MacDonald. This bottle features "Eilean Nam Ban from the Dunes."

Bruichladdich is an award-winning distillery employing generations of distilling knowledge and the principle of minimal intervention. Built in 1881 on the wild Scottish island of Islay, our distillery still uses the original Victorian equipment to create a range of single malt whiskies that are trickle-distilled, matured, and bottled solely on Islay by a skilled team of 78 men and women.

Bruichladdich implements revolutionary, modern interpretations of time-honored ideas and challenges the comfortable conventions of a whisky establishment. Rejecting the onset of modern automation and homogenization, our Head Distiller Adam Hannett only considers production methods that place the quality of liquid above everything else.

Hakushu’s 25 Year Old Limited Edition is lauded as one of the best whiskies in the world by everyone and their mother. In 2016, it was named The Best Japanese Single Malt by the judges at the WWA. It’s also an insanely limited offering that’s sealed with a five-cord Mizuhiki, the symbol of Japanese hospitality.

About Hakushu

In February 1899, Shinjiro Torii — the father of Japanese Whisky — opened a general store in Osaka, Japan, that traded in imported wines. Within a decade, Torii began producing his own sweet grape wine called Akadama Port Wine, which became wildly popular throughout the country. Following World War I, Torri — fascinated by whisky his entire life — decided to expand his business and began constructing the Yamazaki Distillery, Japan's first-ever whiskey distillery.

Fifty years after the construction of the Yamazaki Distillery, Keizo Saji inherited his father's vision and began construction of Suntory's second distillery. Although inspired by traditional Scottish distilleries, both Torii and Saji envisioned a uniquely Japanese approach to distilling whisky. As a result, the Hakushu Distillery is situated amidst the deep forests of Mount Kaikomagatake in Japan's southern Alps and enjoys a unique microclimate as a result of being surrounded by nearly 6,000 varieties of plants and thousand-year-old granite rocks.

About High West 21 Year Old Rocky Mountain Rye Whiskey

High West Rocky Mountain Rye 21 Year Old isn’t technically rye whiskey since it wasn’t aged in new, but rather refill barrels. But it is whiskey distilled from rye. It’s also incredibly rare for an American whiskey to reach such age. The thing is, this impressive spirit is almost extinct, so finding a bottle is almost Ethan Hunt’s level of impossible. Its character is sweet, hot, and spicy. Pretty spectacular stuff.

Don't miss the opportunity to own this wonder!

About High West

Situated at the bottom of the Quitting Time Ski Run in Park City, High West Distillery & Saloon is the first distillery in Utah since Prohibition and the only ski-in gastro-distillery in the world. "We wanted to call High West a "saloon," says David Perkins, High West's founder, "because we wanted to pay homage to the history of saloons in the old West and the important role they played in each and every town that had one. The saloon was the main meeting place where town hall was held, important announcements were made, and people went to eat and drink. We want people to share that sense of community and friendship over High West."

About Rye

As American as the bald eagle, rye whiskey was first brewed in the American Northeast in the 1600s. Even George Washington distilled it after leaving the Oval Office, so there’s no way of denying its origin.
It’s distinguished from bourbon for its original and unique spicy notes.

By law, rye whiskey must be made from at least 51% rye grain, aged in new and charred oak barrels for at least two years, and bottled at no more than 62,5% ABV.

About Black Tot

Founded by Sukhinder Singh, Black Tot was inspired by a Royal Navy tradition that started in the 1600s and lasted until 1970. During that period, a tot of rum was distributed daily to the sailors, instilling them with the neccessary courage to fight battles. Si ngh tracked down and sampled examples of original blends of Caribbean Rums from collectors and had them analyzed. This is how the story Black Tot was born. Singh modeled their flagship rum after the original navy dram, honoring the historic drink and creating a new, modern spirit.

About Rum

Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.

Inspired by the world of wines and the “winemaker’s approach to whiskey” – co-founder and Master Blender Sean Joseph has a background as a sommelier – Pinhook Collaboration Series 10 Year Old Edition No. 1 is a collaboration with Maison Noir Wines’ André Hueston Mack, a world renowned sommelier. Joseph and Mack are long-time friends who used to work together at the New York restaurant Per Se. Pinhook Collaboration Series 10 Year Old Edition No. 1 is blended from the 10 Wyoming Whiskey barrels that Pinhook acquired in 2012, yielding only two five-barrel batches. Distilled at Castle & Key Distillery in Kentucky and bottled at 57.65% ABV, only 700 bottles of this sumptuous blend were produced.

Lovingly handcrafted and aged in Kentucky, Pinhook Bourbon was established in 2014 and has produced several small batch bottlings in their newly restored Castle & Key distillery in Frankfort, KY, to much critical acclaim. What makes their line unique is the brand’s three distinctive characteristics: its limited availability, mass appeal and strong ties to Kentucky’s legacy of horse racing. Each release of Pinhook Bourbon is named after a thoroughbred owned by Bourbon Lane Stabl e. The label also features the horse’s racing records on their brand’s website.

About Highland Park The Light & The Dark 17 Year Old Collection

Situated in the Orkney archipelago in Northern Scotland, Highland Park Distillery was founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson. The name of the distillery is derived not from the region of Scotland known as The Highlands — the Orkney islands are not a part of The Highlands — but rather from the region known as High Park, where the distillery was founded. Highland Park is an incredible longstanding whisky house, and they pride themselves on their rich Norse heritage, an essence that is reflected in their craft.

Today, over two centuries after its founding, Highland Park Distillery remains one of the few Scottish distilleries that continues to hand-turn, malt, and peat its own barley. "You have to be careful here on the malting floor," says Eric Tait, Highland Park's Maltman. "You find it can get a wee bit slippery underneath. I have to turn the malt every eight hours to prevent the roots getting tangled and to get it all aerated properly. The airing also helps it to grow. The malt will be on the floor for seven days, and I'm running five floors at the moment." After malting the barley, Highland Park Distillery smokes it using peat sourced from the nearby peat bog called Hobbister Moor. The unique peat gives Highland Park Whisky its traditional malty flavors that are tempered by just a subtle touch of smoke.

This collection features both The Dark and The Light expressions of the two-part series that celebrates the Orkney climate and the distinctive influence it has on its whiskies. The Dark is an award-winning 17-year-old single malt Scotch whisky that has been matured in first-fill European oak sherry seasoned casks, delivering a distinctly deep flavor, packed with ripe cherries, toasted almonds, and dark chocolate overlaid with hints of smoky peat.

The Light is matured exclusively in refill American oak casks, highlighting the bright and fruity side of the legendary Highland Park spirit with flavors of creamy vanilla, baked pear, and nutmeg that meld luxuriously with rich aromatic smoke. Bottled in a beautifully embossed green gl ass vial, its serpent dragon design is inspired by the great Norse sagas, embracing both the high sun of the summer solstice and the low sun of the winter solstice. Both of these expressions have earned the coveted Double Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
